Fountain Hills Windshield Replacement & Auto Glass Repair

Home to a world-famous fountain and some of the Valley’s darkest skies

Fountain Hills sits east of the McDowell Mountains and north of the Salt River, bordered by Scottsdale and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. Its namesake landmark, built in 1970 by developer Robert P. McCulloch, shoots water from a 30-acre man-made lake every hour on the hour — reaching about 330 feet under normal operation, and up to 560 feet on special occasions like St. Patrick’s Day, when it’s dyed green.

In 2018, the town became the 17th community in the world designated an International Dark Sky Community, thanks to strict lighting ordinances and its position against the McDowell Preserve, making it a favorite spot for Valley stargazers.

Fountain Hills runs its own independent school system, Fountain Hills Unified School District, with McDowell Mountain Elementary, Fountain Hills Middle School, and Fountain Hills High School serving local families. The town’s dramatic elevation offers views of the McDowell Mountains, Four Peaks, and the Superstitions, while its northern edge connects directly to the 21,000-plus acre McDowell Mountain Regional Park, a favorite for hiking, biking, and horseback trails.
